Annie Besant,   (Oct, 1, 1847   /   Sept, 20, 1933 )

She was a great woman, patriot and  a true fighter born to a English man and an Irish woman, At the age of 23, mother of two children and as the marriage failed got divorced in 1870.

In 1870, Besant along with Charles Bradlaugh edited the weekly National Reformer.  This weekly was dedicated to spread the ideas of birth control, trade unions, women’s right and national education.  In 1875, Annie joined the religious movement, Theosophy that was based on Hindu ideas of karma and reincarnation.  . With all respects and tribute to those great souls, some of whom even laid their souls to see our Motherland free from oppression, slavery, depression, domination and rule from foreigners.   I take a humble step in the right direction to bring in those names with their respective relevant details into the open, as I see today that in the present day, even the government which rules the land has forgotten these great souls while naming some dynastic rulers as the only freedom fighters.

Bhagat Singh,  ( Sep, 27, 1907  /  Mar, 23, 1931)

Born to a Sikh family in Laylapur, in Punjab whose only goal was to free our mother land which he believed could be only through armed revolution, he was pulled into this by Jalianwala Bagh massacre when he was just 12.  He formed ‘Naujavan Bharat Sabha’, later formed ‘Hindustan Samajvadi Prajatantra Sangha’. He was sentenced to death on March 23, 1931.  Though dead, Bhagat Singh is still living in the history of humanity and remembered as a prominent face of the freedom struggle.

Italian wedding test.

I was a very happy man. My wonderful girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. There was only one little thing bothering me…It was her beautiful younger sister.

My prospective sister-in-law was 22, wore very tight mini skirts, and generally was bra-less. She would regularly bend down when she was near me, and I always got more than a nice view. It had to be deliberate. Because she never did it when she was near anyone else.

One day her ‘little’ sister called and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived, and she whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she couldn’t overcome. She told me that she wanted me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister.

Well, I was in total shock, and couldn’t say a word.

She said, ‘I’m going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want one last wild fling, just come up and get me.’

I was stunned and frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs. I stood there for a moment, then turned and made a beeline straight to the front door. I opened the door, and headed straight towards my car.

Lord… And behold, my entire future family was standing outside, all clapping!

With tears in his eyes, my father-in-law hugged me and said, ‘We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We couldn’t ask for a better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family.’

And the moral of this story is:

While in Italy or with Italians keep your condoms ready in your car.

Father, Which one ?

Posted: 01/27/2011 in humor
A woman is having an affair during the day while her husband is at work.

Her nine-year-old son comes home unexpectedly, sees the illegal lovers and hides in the bedroom cupboard to watch.

Then the woman’s husband unexpectedly comes home.
She hides her lover in the cupboard, not realizing that her little boy is in there already.

The little Boy says: “Dark in here.”
The Man says: “Yes, it is.”
Boy: “I have a soccer ball, do you want to buy it?”
Man: “No, thanks.”
Boy: “My dad’s outside, I’ll call him if you don’t buy it!”
Man: “OK, how much?”
Boy: “$1,000.”

A few weeks later it happened again, and the boy and the lover were in the cupboard together again.
Boy: “Dark in here.”
Man: “Yes, it is.”
Boy: “I have soccer boots.”
The Man, remembering the last time, asks the boy: “How much?”
The Boy says :”$5,000.”
The Man says: “Fine, I will buy them.”

A few days later, the Father says to the boy: “Grab your ball and boots, let’s go outside and have a game.”
The Boy says: “I can’t, I sold them for $ 6,000.”
The Father says: “That’s terrible to overcharge your friends like that… $ 6,000 is way more than those two things cost. I’m going to take you to church and make you confess your “SINS.”

They go to church and the father makes the little boy sit in the confession booth and he closes the door.
The Boy says: “Dark in here.”
The Priest says: “Don’t start that again!”

Its in the back drop of a petion filed with the Supreme Court by Ram Jethmalani,  K. P. S. Gil and Subash Kashyap asking the Central government to disclose the names of 26 Indians who had stashed 1500000 crores in Julius Baer Bank, the ruling Congress Party, had to disclosed in a sealed cover with the Supreme Court, which seems to have opened a Pandora’s box.    Its quite interesting to take note that, this very Congress had made it loud and clear in their “100 days manifesto” that all the black money stashed in foreign banks will be investigated and brought to account, not to forget the PM’s statement last week that bribery and scamming shall be dealt with strong hands and now it seems that the government under the able leadership of the sleeping PM and Roman Italian Mistress this has fallen by the wayside.

The government has now produced before the Court the names of these 26, asking the court not to release the names to the public.  Why is this so, and why is congress citing flimsy excuses of “contracts” to avoid publicizing the names.  Could there be any use in getting the names and not making them public? and what action could be taken against them if these names are not made public?.

These should be some respect for the public, who vote these scammers into power.  This black money is channeled or can be channeled for drug peddling and even funding for arms of various terrorist outfits that operate in and out of the country.

Of the 1400 names in the list there are 26 accounts related or having roots in India.  Of this only 18 could be traced by the Government, now the question is, to whom are the other 8  accounts related to?.   Are these accounts being operated by any terrorists or politicians or Industrialists who plunder the nation of its wealth?

The gravity of the issue can be measured by the amount stashed in this one small bank alone, what about other big banks in Switzerland and other Island Nations.  Going by records about 80000 people are traveling into Switzerland in a year, of this nearly 25000 are frequent travelers.  Its anybody’s guess why all these people go to just one place.   Equity of the graveness of black money can be gauged just by going though amount of unaccounted monies of  IAS officers Aravind Joshi and his wife Tinu Joshi, which runs to 360 crores, nobody would have known about this if this money was in any foreign banks, but not all “National Looters” are that much intelligent, to keep their ill gotten money in the Foreign banks.

Thus we can make out that only black money works here, what more can I say, if you are to sell a piece of property in Mumbai or Delhi or as the case may be, nobody will be able to buy it without “Black Money”, because I doubt anybody would be willing to show all monies on records.    They are fools who would sniff around where the record amount of black money procured by the erstwhile A Raja and his party has gone!  Our poor other former Ms. CM  of Tamil Nadu,  is bearing the brunt of amassing land here and there even now, if only she was that intelligent she would have  stashed it in any of the Swiss Banks.

Just imagine, 1500 billon $ of Indian Black money in Swiss banks, and if this comes back into India, foreign debt could be neutralized in just under 1 day and moreover the tax burden on the common man could be brought down to tangible levels.

What else can we, as the locals of this great nation do,  where our forefathers gave away their life for the freedom of their sons, and are relentlessly pushed down by the dynastic rulers, westernized laws and unpatriotic souls – even hardcore than the terrorists themselves.

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The Grasshopper thinks the Ant is a fool and laughs &dances & plays the summer away.

Come winter, the Ant is warm and well fed. The Grasshopper has no food or

shelter so he dies out in the cold.

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The Grasshopper thinks the Ant’s a fool and laughs & dances & plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering Grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the Ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed, while others are cold and starving.

NDTV, BBC, CNN show up to provide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper
next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

The World is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be that this poor Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant’shouse.

Medha Patkar goes on a hunger strike along with other Grasshoppers demanding that Grasshoppers be relocated to warmer climates during winter.

Amnesty International criticizes the Indian Government for not upholding the fundamental rights of the Grasshopper.

The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the Grasshopper.

The opposition stages a walkout in Parliament and demands an apology from Sonia Gandhi.

Left parties call for a “Bharat Bandh” in West Bengal and Kerala demanding a Judicial Enquiry.

CPM in West Bengal immediately passes a law preventing Ants from working hard in the heat so as to bring about equality of poverty among Ants and Grasshoppers.

Mamata Banerjee allocates one free coach to Grasshoppers on all Indian Railway

Trains, aptly named as the ‘Grasshopper Rath’.

Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the ‘Prevention of Terrorism Against Grasshoppers Act’ [POTAGA], with effect from the beginning of the winter.Arjun Singh makes ‘Special Reservation’ for Grasshoppers in Educational Institutions & in Government Services.

The Ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, it’s home is confiscated by the Government and handed over to the Grasshopper in a ceremony covered by NDTV.

Arundhati Roy calls it “A Triumph of Justice.”

Lalu-Mulayam call it “Socialistic Justice.”

CPM calls it the “Revolutionary Resurgence of the Downtrodden.”

The Grasshopper is invited to address the UN General Assembly.
Many years later…

The Ant has since migrated to the US and set up a multi-billion dollar company in Silicon Valley.

100s of Grasshoppers still die of starvation despite 100 % reservation  in India. As a result of loosing lot of hard working Ants and feeding the Grasshoppers,  India is still a developing country!!!

Plight of Kashmiri Pundits

Posted: 01/19/2011 in Kashmir

Today the 19 of January has great relevance with the people of Kashmir, I am not talking of muslims there, but of the real sons of the land, ie., Kashmiri Pundits, because it was on this day some 22 years back they were packed of their homeland into refugee camp.  Its quite undermining to see that of all the governments that have come after wards, none has done any minisucle thing to lessen the burden of these people of the “lesser god”.  Even the BJP when in power for some time did little for the cause.
By saying ” lesser God” I ought to bring forth the plight of the sons of the region by way of religion being a damned majority or a triumphant minority in what we call India, where in Kashmir is also a part spells the difference to live or die.  No where in the world you will find a majority being persecuted for a minority, stark contrast is that in the parliamentary way, the party which gets the most seats (majority) rules and the party with even lesser seats is the opposition (minority) in India, which I cant understand on what basis this is.
I being from a Community known as Gowda Saraswath Brahmins, had felt the brunt of persecution some 400 years back, wherein my forefathers had to flee from their own land wherein the Portuguese asked them to “leave or get converted or die”.  This persecution has now befallen on the Kashmiri Pundits,  even worse from the very same hands the people had voted to power.
It is not the time to lament but to fight from the front, lets take up arms of all sorts, pen or gun, stone or bomb, intellect or disarray, and do our part to relive our motherland from the depths of treachery of the dynastic rulers.
